Homestead, Florida
We spent 3 weeks in Homestead which is near the southern tip of Florida about 30 miles south of Miami. It was a great stay. Homestead is the last city before hitting the Florida keys and is the gateway to two national parks, Everglades and Biscayne.
During the weekends, we visited the Everglades, South Beach (Miami Beach) and Key West.
We will definitely return someday.
